Why there are no prices in this catalogue

Scope drives cost. Two organisations asking for “an integration platform” can be six months apart in effort, and a number published before anyone has read the requirements would be fiction — helpful to nobody, and the sort of claim we would then have to defend. Cost is quoted in writing after a scoping conversation, against a scope both sides have agreed.

The same rule applies to the API: there is no price field in the service catalogue, because a figure in a JSON response is still a price claim.

What we do not do

2BE Consult OÜ works with organisations under a written contract. The following are outside our scope, and we will decline them:

  • We do not provide consumer technical support, and we are not a helpdesk for the general public.
  • We do not offer remote access to a member of the public's device, at any price, for any reason.
  • We do not recover accounts, reset passwords or unlock devices for anyone who is not our contracted client's own administrator.
  • We are not affiliated with, and we do not act on behalf of, Microsoft, Google, Apple, or any other software vendor whose products we may work with.
  • We do not sell, resell or redistribute third-party software licences.
  • We do not cold-call, and we will never telephone you claiming your computer has a problem. If you receive such a call it is not from us.
  • We do not take work in gambling, adult content, consumer lending, binary options or cryptocurrency trading.

If you have reached this page after a telephone call from someone claiming to be from a software company about a problem with your computer, that call was not from us and it was not from any company we work with. We do not make such calls. Please do not grant remote access to anyone who telephones you.

Two questions that come up every time

Do you work fixed-scope or as an embedded team?
Both. A build with a boundary we can draw on a whiteboard is delivered as a scoped engagement; work whose requirements are still moving is better served by named engineers embedded in your delivery process under a written contract.
Who owns the code you write?
You do. Intellectual property assignment is written into the engagement contract, and the code, pipeline and documentation are in your repository from the first commit rather than handed over at the end.
